The Saint Louis Higher Institute of Health and Biomedical Sciences is a higher institute of learning, situated at Mile 2 Nkwen Bamenda, North West Province Republic of Cameroon. The institute is built on a firm foundation, offering effective training in various paramedical fields leading to the award of the Higher Professional Diploma (HPD) by the Ministry of Higher Education of the Republic of Cameroon. These certificates are similar to those offered by the Ministry of Public Health, Republic of Cameroon; some of whose candidates are equally being trained by this institution. Certificates obtainable from Saint Louis are internationally recognized and our graduates could either work or further their education wherever and when the need arises. In a very conducive educational environment, with a well equipped teaching hospital, multi-media centre, trained permanent and visiting lecturers at home and abroad, an excellent collaboration with other institutions for networking and practical training, the Saint Louis Higher Institute of Health and Biomedical Sciences hopes to put in place a distance learning program from the USA and UK.
