VISION

And I saw a lot of people in POVERTY and MISERY yet surrounded by plenty! What an irony? The strong and rich crushing the weak. Young men and women from the high schools and universities started drinking in the mornings, stealing in the evenings. Then they danced the whole night to bury two HIV/AIDS victims. A doctor down the road, fidgeting in darkness, was having a hard time finishing an abortion he had started on a teenager at 30 weeks gestation. He charged 20 dollars.

A youth put a gun to my head, robbed me of my wallet, personality and peace. What was I going to do about this? It has nothing to do with the police and the courts. I could not blame him. I blamed myself for doing nothing for the orphan and the widow. What about you? What have you done with your talents, wealth, position and possessions?

Our bottom line is that we are IGNORANT and IRRESPONSIBLE (I & I).

 MISSION

What would I do about this revelation? I counted my talents, reviewed my opportunities, understood my environment and I remembered this saying; “DO THE BEST YOU CAN, / WHERE EVER YOU ARE WITH WHAT YOU HAVE!” Then yet another thought popped into my mind, something I learnt from somewhere I cannot remember; “IF YOU WANT SOMETHING YOU HAVE NEVER HAD, DO SOMETHING YOU HAVE NEVER DONE!”

I had to start with what I have in my hands, transferring medical knowledge and skills to youths (thus, the St Louis Higher Institute of Health), training in 5 fields to international standards.

We will be creating 50,000 jobs through empowerment, enlightenment, networking, transfer of technology, creation of cottage industries through a BUSINESS NURSERY ( Cameroon Industrial and Development Corporation).

 OUR GOAL

To see Cameroonian youths love themselves and their country. They should be patriotic, return home and be proud of themselves and their roots. They should be skilled, working and generating enough income with a positive balance. They should be informed and responsible citizens.  How often are we insulted in embassies when we go for visas? Why are we running away from our shadows? We should have self worth. Join hands with us. Be part of the winning team! We are DEVELOPERS! We stand on the ROCK and the WORD!
